Xiaomi Dictionary Pen C1 Introduced!
The pen, capable of recognizing 26 million words in just 0.3 seconds, is now available for pre-order on Xiaomi’s Youpin platform under the name Dictionary Pen C1. The device is expected to start shipping on December 26 and is priced at approximately $49.
Although calling it a “pen” might not be entirely accurate, the device is designed to make learning and recognizing words easier for students from elementary to high school. With high frame imaging, OCR technology, and a 98% accuracy rate, it is rumored to become an essential tool for thousands of students.
Even when used offline, the pen will have a built-in offline word database, allowing for seamless word searches. This feature is particularly important for ease of use in libraries and similar environments.
The AI-supported Dictionary Pen C1 allows users to ask questions via voice commands and provides detailed explanations, example sentences, and grammar information as part of its comprehensive learning tools. Additionally, it offers practical memory techniques and exercises to enhance the learning experience.
